The Hungarian Society of Clinical Oncology (HSCO) was established in August 1998. The objective was to set up a scientific organization for specialists in charge of evidance-based anti-cancer therapy. The Hungarian Oncological Association, then in operation for several decades, provided an umbrella organization for many anti-cancer disciplines, however, the fast development of clinical oncology made it necessary to launch a separate scientific forum for the specialists of this field.

Report of the Hungarian Society of Clinical Oncology

The Hungarian Society of Clinical Oncology (HSCO) was established in August 1998. The objective was to set up a scientific organization for specialists in charge of evidance-based anti-cancer therapy.
